One thing that I have learned from my multiple trips to the "Down and Out Superstore" is that when you are in the chaos of hard times it doesn't feel like there is any purpose or lesson... other than another heaping of pain and disappointment. Just like everyone, people who I loved with every fiber have passed into spirit... leaving me behind and broken. I have suffered miscarriages- one after another. Got fired from my dream job because my boss wanted to bring in his friend for the position. I struggled for years with the pain and loss and the questions: "Why? What is the purpose in this?"
It might not be a complete understanding or solution to these questions, but this card acknowledges potential chaos as an activator for healing in your life. Spiritual chaos allows for the dissolution of outmoded beliefs so expensive, energetic life force energy can fill up your life. If you're experiencing upheaval right now, know that the underlying energy is restorative. Embrace it rather than deny or suppress it. You are being healed on all levels.
It takes time to find the calm in the storm, but also understand that the chaos can be beneficial in other ways. It can activate your creative life force. Alternatively, if your life is too calm to the point of being stagnant, it may be time to create some chaos in your life. Try doing things differently as you step out of old routines.
Look for the silver lining in your current upheaval. Shred outdated thinking and self-imposed blockages. Tear down the walls of your self-imposed limitations.
