CLEARING: HELPER GUIDES (Ask Your Guides Oracle Cards by Sonia Choquette)
For every new ambition, relationship, or opportunity that you seek at this time, there's something that must be eliminated to make way for this new experience. Current routines, habits, people, or commitments must be released so that you can be open to new energies coming in. Your Helper Guides are present, urging you to identify what must go. Be honest and objective, and do not hold on to what no longer serves you. Be realistic and thoughtful in clearing the way for the new to enter. You will move toward success by discarding everything that does not align with you are becoming today.Â
Even though the Universe supports your heart's desire, you cannot bypass the work that is necessary to bring these desires and dreams into manifestation. You have to have the intention and then it's time for the effort. To reach for something greater, first let go of what is holding you back. Here are a few easy energy clearing techniques you can try:
1) Shower/Bath:Â This one is so simple and one that I do almost every day. While I'm showering, I ask the Spirit of the Water to help cleanse my auric field from all of the toxic and unnecessary energy that I've come in contact with throughout the day. And, then, I visualize the toxins releasing from my body and going down into the drain.
2) Grounding:Â I find that the more raw and real you can get to the Earth, the more she is able to absorb and transform your burdens. If you can, place your bare feet and bare hands on the Earth or even better, lay down on her belly-to-belly and heart-to-heart. Take as much time as you can to truly feel her and connect to her. However you connect to the Earth, be sure to thank her for her love and support.
3) Auric Sweep: Put your hands close to your body and "fluff" the air surrounding you with the intention of loosening and releasing any unwanted energies from your aura. It's the same gestures you'd make when shooing away flies. You can do this up and down your body until you feel more clear.
4) Carry Crystals: In your purse, in your pocket, and even like the meme... in your bra. Powerful protection and clearing crystals come in all colors but I like the black ones, like Tourmaline and Obsidian. They can really help to cleanse, purify and transform dense energy. I also use Selenite (liquid light) and others that I feel intuitively drawn to in the moment. I find that the one I pick up is the one I need.Â
5) Smudge: You can use sage, palo santo, or other dried herbs. You waft the smoke around your body, your sacred space, and your home to help purify and cleanse negative energies. Sage also releases negative ions to rebalance mood and energy... just don't forget to open a window!Â
6) Salt Bath: Salt is one of the most ancient and powerful cleansers/protectors. It has been used in ritual for thousands of years. The magnesium in sea salt can calm the nervous system and reduce stress levels. Salt baths can also increase endorphin production, which can help relieve stress.
7) Call on Spirit Team:Â Ask your Spirit Guides for help in cleansing your soul. It's simple and it works! Just say something like, "Spirit Guides, I need your assistance in helping to clear any unwanted energy from my body. Please help me to release anything that isn't in my highest good." And, then, close your eyes and consciously take deep breaths or meditate for a few minutes while they do their job. Be sure to thank them when they're finished.
8) Water: You need to drink it. It makes you feel better. It can also work FOR you! You can program your drinking water with intentions to help cleanse and clear you, physically and spiritually. When pouring a glass of water, hold your hands over the water and bless it. Make a prayer or intention to the water and then slowly and consciously sip the water, visualizing the water transforming the energy throughout your body. I program my water and place it on a Shungite EMF plate and I feel like it works.Â
9) Sun: The sun is a powerful healer. Sunlight increases serotonin and endorphins, which can improve mood and help you feel more energetic and calm. Close your eyes and set a timer for 7 minutes. Put your face up to the sun and feel its warmth caressing you and just breathe. Hear and be present in the moment. See what messages or thoughts arise.Â
10) Shake Rattle and Roll: Get up and move. Shake it off. Sometimes I will have a negative thought and I will literally say "that's not my thought" and I will shake it away like an intruder. Any kind of conscious movement can get stagnant energy flowing.Crank up your favorite jam and dance around like a crazy person for 3-4 minutes. Listen to chakra frequencies and move... or just put on some Fleetwood Mac and work on your Stevie spins... it all works and it's all good.Â
