️Many people live in a state of always wanting more... a state of perpetual comparison between themselves and others. They live with a mindset where, somehow, "more" equals happiness and fulfillment. In psychology, this is called the "hedonistic adaptation" which means as we strive towards the feeling of happiness and satisfaction it actually moves further away from us. The truth is, whatever your definition of "fulfillment" may be, it can be an illusion because abundance is a state of mind. It is already all around you.
If we are only striving to reach those goals because we think we will "finally" embody the emotional state of happiness, abundance, and gratitude then this may severely hinder the chances of achieving those goals. Moving into a conscious space of perpetual abundance and happiness attracts magic and blessings. If you take a second to be here now, in the present moment, you will see that blessings and abundance are all around you. You are already standing in those waters. Happiness is subjective to each person. Choose to live every day in abundance and choose to open your eyes to the beauty that is all around you. Take time to harvest the abundance in your life and as you show gratitude it will be multiplied.
